Securing your Linksys WRT54G
Current implementations of the 802.11b and 802.11g wireless LAN standards have several potential pitfalls for security. However, built in security mechanisms in these protocols can be used to mitigate most security risks for SOHO users. Out of the box, the Linksys Wireless Router default configuration is insecure. However functionality built into the product can be used to greatly enhance the security of this device.
